JumpCactus Design is the result of the dreaming, playing and designing done by mother-of-two graphic designer and illustrator Ivy Verghese Thompson.

Ivy graduated with a Bachelor of Design/ Visual Communication from Monash University in 2005.  She then went on to study a MA of Advertising at RMIT in Melbourne. Before she completed her masters, Ivy and her partner decided to start a family. With a mere month left of her degree she fell pregnant with identical twins.

In February 2008, Ivy was a full-time stay-at-home mum of identical twin-boys. As if she wasn't busy enough she started to design invitations for family and friends. One job led to another, and soon she started a blog to showcase her designs. Within 3 months she had outgrown the blog, and decided to get a business-name and set up a proper website.

The result is a portfolio full of playful, energetic and curious invitation-designs. A work in constant progress (much like her twins!), Ivy enjoys staying in touch with her creative side while caring for her toddler-sons.
